Along with long-time collaborator Amos Tversky, Kahneman revolutionized cognitive psychology and behavioral economics by developing prospect theory and identifying pervasive cognitive biases, winning the 2002 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. He synthesized his lifetime of research in the bestselling book Thinking, Fast and Slow and later co-authored Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgment.
