In 2001, Dan Bastian and his wife Angie began popping kettle corn in their garage, growing the venture into the snack brand Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP. After scaling distribution and partnering with private equity, they sold the company to Conagra Brands in 2017 for an estimated $250 million.
