The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Neil Patel no published score: no usable exchanges on raw tape, and a fair score needs 8+ record → ← everyone

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q a plan in place for if someone is billed, but when you go in and look at their usage metrics, the usage metrics are like close to nothing. What's your guys' plan for that? What do you do in the first three days to make sure people engage and use the thing so that they are actually built and they're actually customers that are going to retain over the longterm?

A We optimize the first user experience. So we look at what makes someone pay and what doesn't cost someone to pay. And we want to make sure someone gets value as they're not getting value. And they even email us six months or a year later being like, I never use this. We actually refund every single penny. We don't even make, we don't fight back or anything. We actually even have people emailing us who've been with us for a year or two and be like, oh, I've never going to use it. And we've seen that they use it a bit. We still just refund all their money. We don't make any like pushbacks or complaints, but our goal is if you're using it, we want to charge you. If you're not using it, we don't want to charge you. Cause that means we felt that we've done something wrong and we do email notifications, et cetera. Like when you get charged.
