The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q Very cool. Okay. Tell us about converse social. So what's it doing? What's your business model? How do you make money?

A Sure. So we're a, an enterprise SAS product and our software is used in the contact centers of really big consumer brands to deliver customer service through social media, through mobile messaging. So if you rented a car from Hertz, And you have a problem with that car. Something, something's wrong. Something's wrong with the billing. You know, you don't want to phone them and wait on hold while you're like traveling. Uh, you don't want to email them and wait like a week for a response. So what do you do today? Right. You tweet at them. You send them a message on Facebook. Hundreds of people in their contact centers is just responding to these messages and resolving issues with their customers through these channels and software to do that. So our software, uh, completely invisible to the consumer, but behind the scenes, It's collecting all of these messages from all of the different channels. Uh, it's analyzing them, prioritizing them, routing them out and distributing them among potentially hundreds of agents who are online at the same time, providing all that workflow. And then also providing all the analytics and dashboards for, for managers to be supervising and managing that team.
