The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q And it looks like Nordstrom and really what they're paying you for based off the results That you put on the website. It says emails collected for Nordstrom Rack for future communications, 1700 plus gift cards distributed 4800 and impressions, 700,000. Are those really like three key metrics they were looking for for this bar?

A Yeah, they are. They are. They also, you know, they do a lot of, you know, with Nordstrom, they're doing a lot of branding as well and rebranding. So it, you know, as much as everybody wants to return on investment with hard numbers, the, the, the biggest return is actually being on site and listening to consumers and talking to them. So shoot a lot of video and stuff there too. Just to show people exactly what that experience is, because as much as email metrics and things like that are great, you can't put a price tag on somebody saying, I can't wait to use this at Nordstrom or I just bought a whole bunch of stuff there, you know, or you changed my perspective. That kind of stuff is just, you know, where there's weight in gold.

AI assessment note: “Yeah, they are. They are. They also, you know, they do a lot”

Q So is it fair to say if your average kind of contract is for call at half a million, you're working with about five clients per year?

A Yeah, I'd say that. I think we've got a couple of, you know, we have a couple of clients that we do a lot of smaller things for, you know, as, as much as we would love to be on the road with shipping containers all day, we have to, you know, continue with our bread and butter. And, you know, we've launched the Tacoma in the Midwest this year and built off-road courses all over the Midwest for them. And, you know, we've launched car, you know, small car launches and, you know, we still do things that, you know, we don't forget where we came from. We didn't just start as this massive agency. Uh, we, uh, We started at, you know, doing small mom and pop things, staff here, photo booth there, things like that, and that stuff still rings true to us, and some of those clients that we started with six years ago, we still do stuff with today.
