The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Christopher Day no published score: no usable exchanges on raw tape, and a fair score needs 8+ record → ← everyone

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q And if we just focus on the 82%, or it sounds like maybe with the Assured Services. It's much higher than that, but just your SAS revenue. What's the average customer paying you per month? That'll prevent us from going down individual kind of cohort paths.

A Yeah, absolutely. So our, including our beta customers, uh, all the way through our most recent contracts, our average contract value today on annualized basis is 45,000 dollars, but that's skewed low, uh, because of the early beta customers. So the average contract we're sending out today is more than 150 to 200,000 dollar range, uh, for an annual contract. Um, however, we also have figured out how to be able to offer this model to mid-market companies, and so we've been able to introduce a transactional component, and so we're getting some exciting news that we're getting ready to come out with here in a couple of weeks, uh, is we're gonna launch a walk-up version, so even middle market companies can come and give it a test drive.

Q That's very cool. Congratulations. What a fun time. Okay, tell me more of the backstory here. When did you launch the company?

A So we launched the company in February of, uh, my partner Shawn Schweigman, who was a CMO for Overstock and was there from three million through eight hundred million, all the way through the IPO. Um, we talked about this idea and this massive pain point we saw in marketing for probably 18 months before we ever started the company, but we launched it in February, 2015, did a lot of testing to make sure what we thought we could do would work. We started building the actual, what we call the traffic cloud. So the world's first traffic cloud, um, We're getting ready to do a national announcement here in two weeks. Uh, we started building that physically in October of 2016. We went to market, um, and started selling kind of to beta customers in July of last year and with version one of the platform and literally just launched the two of the platform two weeks ago. And now we're ready to fully go to market.
