Khandelwal: B2B SaaS avoids prolonged unprofitability due to sticky enterprise revenue

Dilipkumar Khandelwal, angel investor and former SAP executive, contrasts B2B SaaS unit economics and customer acquisition dynamics with high-burn consumer tech models.
“It's a lot more easier in B to B SaaS because that cycle is a little bit different when you sell to an enterprise. It's a longer period of cycle. But it's a very sticky cycle. So once you are able to get the product, then there is a constant flow of money which comes in. Of course, it's a longer period of cycle, but once you get in, I think you can make it much more longer and sustainable. So it's a lot more easier in B to B SaaS. You generally don't have that problem of spending too much of money and being non-profitable for a longer period of time.”
