The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q He's been on the show, he's awesome. So, so now, I'm sure you did very well then, after that, but how, how have sales been since then? Have you sustained those sales, or has it been, been a bit tough?

A Um, highs and lows, of course, like most businesses, we, um, that was great for our business, and then, um, twenty-twenty was, you know, following that, and pandemic hit, and we actually were lucky, one of those businesses that did good during the pandemic, so we saw continuous growth. So we decided to spend the year looking at if we really wanted to raise this outside capital through friends and family, etc., and we decided that The best way for us to scale was through digital advertising. Um, we're seeing around 10 X return on ad spend, so it seemed, you know, like the best way to go. 86% of millennials said that they would dress their dogs in clothing, so the market potential was huge. So we raised that outside capital in twenty-twenty-one, and then in the summer of twenty-twenty-two, the Apple Privacy Act happened, and our digital ad spend or return on ads went from 10 X To eight X to five X. And now we are lucky to hit three X. Wow.

AI assessment note: “highs and lows, of course, like most businesses, we, that was great”
