Beck served as Director of the Pentagon's Defense Innovation Unit from 2023 to 2025, accelerating the military's adoption of commercial technology. He previously spent over a decade as a Vice President at Apple reporting to Tim Cook, and served as Chief Strategy Officer at Charles Schwab.
