In 1985, Stephens co-founded Nature's Path Organic Foods with his wife Ratana Stephens, growing it into North America’s largest independent certified organic breakfast and snack food company. A longtime pioneer of organic agriculture and vegetarian food in Canada, he previously founded The Golden Lotus restaurant and has authored books including The Moth & the Flame.
