Alex Blumberg (Gimlet Media co-founder) discusses advice for new podcasters and creators starting out in audio storytelling.
“You have to start with some, with a vision of what you want to be. And then like you copy that and then eventually you'll find your way to your own voice through copying. But like, if you're just starting out, I'm original, I'm going to do it my way. Like, it's really hard. I think there are people who can do that, and maybe you will be the TSLA of podcasting and publish your masterpiece at 21, and like, that's fine, but I don't think I don't think that happens that often.”
