“Businesses paid me a retainer. So it ended up being as much as 5000 dollars a month. And that was for a, in the end, a bi-weekly, 30 minute phone call. That was the consulting piece. They'd also pay me a big upfront chunk of money. To design their overall funnel, and to write all the copy. And so in the end, that was between 50 and 75,000 dollars upfront. Plus the royalty. Excuse me, plus the retainer. And then on top of that, I'd get paid a royalty anywhere between five and 10%.”
