The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q Got it. Very cool. So, and why are, you know, if you haven't really raised capital, you're not really interested in that space, why are you based in the Bay Area? That sounds like an expensive, you know, expensive cost.

A Yeah, it's, um, it's actually just myself. And, um, because I need to be, you know, speaking to the right partners, be up to date with what else to build for our, you know, like we have Apple, Google Play, Google, Dropbox, Box, all of these are big partners for us, so we continue to work with them to figure out how else can we work better, right? Second is in terms of being up to date with the latest sales and marketing and partnership strategies. Um, the reason we have a remote team in the US is also to handle Most of our, uh, sales and, um, customer success facing functions because, uh, more than 50% of revenue comes from the US. So we need to stay close to where our customers are.

Q How are you ranking? I just type digital sign in my phone in the app store. You popped up number one. What are you doing to rank that high? I imagine there's some kind of, you know, mysterious something to it.

A Yeah, it's, um, it's actually a combination. It's again, a black box is a combination of different factors. First of all, um, app stores look at few signals, like, uh, how old is the app in the marketplace? So we are, we have been there for over six years. So there's a, there's a lot of relationship between, uh, In terms of our, um, quality of downloads, the velocity of downloads, how often we release How many times we are featured on the app store? Uh, how many times we have been, um, uh, ranked in both, you know, free downloads and grossing revenue. So there are a lot of different, different factors that go in and not to mention the total number of reviews. And are you, are you rated as a five star or a four star or a 4.5 star? So there are many signals that go in along with, of course, the keywords and the keywords are something which we have been using for a, you know, for a long time.
