The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q Is this your model now? You keep saying we were.

A Yeah. So we're actually in the, in the process of shifting over. And what you see is this happens. This is a sort of the case with all, um, basically online financial marketplaces. They start off as pure marketplace and then effectively move over to be more of an asset manager or online, um, uh, venture capital firm or private equity firm or online, um, uh, kind of lender. So, so what we're doing now is, so we've, uh, for instance, in the first quarter of this year, We had revenues of about a 150,000 here in 2016. Um, oh, sorry, 2016. Yes. Um, and now, uh, we're, we're sort of in the process of, of our pivot. So we're basically raising, uh, a capital fund, uh, twenty million dollar capital fund. We will be then investing in all of the companies on the, on the platform. And then effectively we invite now investors to co-invest, um, alongside of us. And that sort of takes us from a pure marketplace model You're more of an online asset management model.

AI assessment note: “we're actually in the, in the process of shifting over.”
