The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Peter Awad no published score: no usable exchanges on raw tape, and a fair score needs 8+ record → ← everyone

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q Dude, I'm looking at something wrong. I'm not seeing anything. Um, Okay. We'll talk about that later. I don't know, but we'll link to that in the show notes. It'll, it'll be working by the time people hear this. And it might just be me, right? User error is a bitch. So sorry. Um, okay. So mission, mission meets what else? The podcast, why launch the podcast?

A So the podcast is a selfish endeavor, man. It launches a selfish endeavor. Anyways, it's grown into something that I'd never expected for me. Uh, and anybody that's listening, if you're in business or thinking about getting business, this is, this is the truth. It is a rollercoaster from hell, right? So you have massive highs, you have massive peaks, you have massive valleys. And you're, you can find yourself successful and define that however the hell you want. But in the end, you're like, I'm still not happy. What the hell is wrong with me? Right. Or I had a huge day yesterday and today I feel like I'm going to go out of business. What the hell is wrong with me? Right. And the thing is, is that for me, it was a mission to try to figure that out. And the, the, what I find, what I'm finding is, is not everybody is struggling with this. They all have their different ways of dealing with it. You're not alone. You're not an idiot. You're not stupid. Like this is just part of being an entrepreneur. And so how are people dealing with that? Right. And what's cool is that you, I get to interview these founders. I've got to interview Brad Feld, one of the top VCs in the country. I just interviewed Richard Branson's co-founder and Virgin product and Virgin produced. And you find that all these people deal with it, but they have different ways of handling that manic behavior. And so it's…

AI assessment note: “for me, it was a mission to try to figure that out.”
