Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each
question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on
four things from 1 to 5:
directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow),
precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted
mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange
scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean.

Q Um, so just to be clear, Kim, that Facebook post ideas, ebook, tell me how did you put that together? Do you have a team member that designs? Did you use an, an outsourced design website to craft that? How'd you get the ebook together?
A Well, I'm, I have a design background, and frankly, I am like a little bit, um, well, not a little bit, I'm freakishly particular when it comes to what we put out that's visual. So, in this particular example, just to kind of give you the back end of how this started, this originally started as a blog post, and it was 17 post ideas at the time. And it was so hugely popular that we're like, wow, obviously this is a pain point for people. So we took that same content, we beefed it up a little bit more, gave some more tips, and I was actually the one who made the e-book pretty. But that doesn't mean that you have to do it that way. You can absolutely outsource, you know, go to, uh, Odesk or, um, you know, any of the outsource places and have someone else do it if design is not your skill set. For me, I do have that background, so I actually did, uh, the creation, um,

Q best selling book called will the real you please stand up in social media. You also put out amazing content on your Facebook page eBooks. You have a membership site, break it down for us. If someone's listening right now and they're trying to figure out where to start, Would you recommend a book? Would you recommend a membership site, an ebook? What is selling best for you right now?
A Well, I think one of the things that is, is working the best for us, and I, and I think the reason it is working the best is because it, it provides a value proposition to those that we serve. And what that is, is our social selling inner circle. And the value proposition to that is, of course, lots of training, but I think it's bigger than that. I think it's the community and the support that is inside of that, you know, group. We, we basically support those who become members of our inner circle inside of a Facebook group. And people connect and support one another and, uh, build out family almost, uh, in an online environment, and I think that's the true value proposition, and frankly, I think that's what social is all about. It's about connecting with like-minded people, um, you know, that have the, that are on the same path that you are, and it's incredibly powerful.

Q So, just over a year ago, it was episode number two, I remember. You, we had talked about how you'd grown your 47 dollar per month membership site to many, many customers, and it was driving about 23 grand per month in revenue. You've made a lot of progress on that. Where is it at now?
A Well, basically that was one of our income streams, uh, and that, and that's still true today. Our continuity program is a huge focus for us because, um, it's nice to, um, one, to have a continuity program because you wake up at the first, on the first day of every month and, you know, you know you can count on a certain chunk of income without launching a product, you know? Yeah. So that's kind of a, um, a super nice feature of having a continuity program, but To answer your question directly, um, in the, the timeframe that, uh, since the last time I was a guest to today, because these numbers are, are as of this morning, we're now generating, um, a 56,494 dollars a month, um, in our continuity program. That's about a 245% increase since the last time, um, I was on the top.

Q That's so funny. So over 56 grand per month in revenue and for people that want to like actually follow Kim this program as you talk about it, what's the link? Like where's the top of the funnel for this?
A Well, you can find it, ah, on my website at kimgarst.com. It is, we call it the Boom Social Inner Circle, and essentially it's just a, ah, it's, it's kind of for beginners who are trying to get, ah, off the ground as it relates to kind of the marriage, because I, I, You have to, um, you have to have some digital marketing, um, pieces and parts in play too, and so we really focus on how you can truly make money, uh, with social media, uh, by marrying the two elements together, you know, the social and the digital pieces, and we teach that, um, on a baseline level, At, um, you know, a 47 dollar a month, uh, entry point for, for our, um, inner circle.

Q Oh, that is pure gold, Kim, and we'll include that in the show notes. Thanks for sharing that. So, so when people get in the mini course, they go into iMember, they're getting the information, you're then upselling your inner circle. What's the price point on that?
A Our inner circle is 47 dollars a month, and, ah, it includes, ah, tons of resources. You know, there's lots of, ah, other mini-courses in there. There, um, there are, we have a webinar every week where we train on something very specific, and then, um, we do what we call straight, um, um, Training with the pros. So we'll bring in an outside expert on something very specific. Like yesterday, for example, we had, uh, Saeed Balki. Uh, you know, Saeed. Oh, super smart. Oh, amazingly smart gentleman. Uh, young man. He's, you know, I think he's 24. Very, very, I think the same age as you are, in fact. Um, two brilliant young guys. You guys both are amazing. And, um, and he basically just shared, um, some really golden nuggets On list building. So we bring in an outside, um, you know, expert once a month, and, um, you know, of course, then we do the trainings every week as well. So tons of value for the 47 dollars a month. But again, I think the true value proposition is the community and the ability to ask questions that are pertinent to their, to their individual businesses.

Q Well, if people, you know, we are, we are very, you know, social creatures, but, you know, for the analytical people listening right now that are interested in, in tactics, and numbers, and digits, can you walk us through what the Funnel looks like for your social selling inner circle. What's the price point, and how do people learn about it?
A Absolutely, and this has been one of the things that we have been most successful with, uh, frankly, is, uh, leveraging our inner circle or selling our inner circle through a funnel process. Um, so we start out with a free e-book, um, you know, something, and most of the time it's an e-book, something that's value-based that solves a very specific, uh, problem for our community, uh, or the, the prospects that we want to bring into our community. Um, you know, it might be, Uh, you know, Facebook post ideas, for example, because that's one of the problems that we see. So, um, it's a huge prevalent problem right now. On Facebook is it's hard to get, uh, you know, into the news feeds of the fans there. So we, we gave some of my best tips in an ebook, um, and then immediately inside of that ebook, we give them an opportunity to learn more about that same topic. Okay, now you have these great resources, um, you know, great ideas. How do you implement those great ideas? So we sell what we call a mini course. That teaches them how to, uh, run with those great ideas that we gave them for free.

Q The 67 bucks, where are you spending most of that? Facebook ads?
A Facebook ads. So just to give you, I'm so glad you asked that question, because Facebook ads are, um, something I kind of drug my feet on for the longest time. We've really only been deep, kind of, All in on Facebook ads for about 18 months, and considering I have had an online business and been active on Facebook for a lot longer, , that's not that long, right? Um, about 18, 18% of our traffic is all organic, and we use, like, so for, for those who don't have a, a major, um, you know, budget, you know, for advertising, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, wherever you want to advertise, Google AdWords, Um, I'm just here to say that you can absolutely drive traffic and get a return. It may not be as much, but about, for us, for example, about 18% of our traffic comes free, totally free, using social media. Yup. And then the other 82% is, um, Facebook ads. And, you know, the last time we spoke, Nathan, it was really, even though it was about a year ago, we hadn't been using Facebook ads a ton at that point, and I think our list was about And our list list is now, um, of a 187,000. And I attribute much of that to Facebook ads.
