The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Igor Fali no published score: no usable exchanges on raw tape, and a fair score needs 8+ · coarse estimate ≈4.0/5 from 4 produced feed exchanges record → ← everyone

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q Okay. Fair enough. Fair enough. And then I guess why let this person in? Was he very strategic or what's the story?

A Well, originally I met him when I was, uh, at a previous company and it was like, okay, hello, I'm just traveling to Barcelona. Let's have a talk. And we've been talking a lot and he told me stories about the startups and he was sort of mentoring me how to do these things in the proper way. And for me, it was like, okay, it's so cool. And we made a good connection. And I saw him that he has a lot of companies and the companies are a specific interest in drone and computer vision and AI. And we're like, okay, let's do this way. I will help you out. You'll build the technology. So it was like a mentorship at first with whom I have the warm connection. And right now it's like, okay, he's my investor. We're basically collaborating.

Q Okay, and so what does your software help them do? Is it literally don't run into other drones or don't run into trees or things like that?

A Yeah, uh, well, mostly we focus on leveraging the BVLOS technologies like Beyond Visual Line of Sight. Basically, it helps the certified pilot who control the drone to automate the majority of the task and to help them fly more secure and more safely within the obstacle-dense environment, as I mentioned before, and it helps them to be more, um, I would say more prominent on the task delivery. So it has a native obstacle avoidance and AI-driven navigation. So imagine the situation when a drone is really easily to crash in some kind of building obstacle, like, uh, as you mentioned, like the, uh, branches of the tree or maybe power lines, and we're making the technology. So drone could sell, have a self-awareness to perceive it and make an accurate decision based on its, uh, intelligence and make a decision-making system.

Q Very cool. Okay. How are you funding the business to date? Are you bootstrapped or have you raised?

A Uh, originally we met with my investor and it was just a small talk. And he eventually like, okay, if you do the product, I will invest in you. And I did the proof of concept. Uh, the video is on our website. You can see it. And he's like, okay, I like it. Let's work. Let's collaborate. And he invested in us like 500,000 euros. And this is the only our pre-seed investor right now. He's a leading one, but we are flexible with investments coming from the other sides. And right now we've had the plug and play accelerator. We have a potential collaboration with them, but they're waiting for the MVP to have some more, um, potential contacts with us, and other people want to invest, but we're not accepting, like, every people, because we need to have a strong collaboration. We're looking for the strong partnership, who's going to be really useful for us, not just some guys with the money.

Q So do you charge based off the number of drones and install your software on?

A Yeah. Oh, well, let's just be clear. We're only four months old. We'll just establish incorporating in, in December. And we have a prominent drone manufacturer. I was from United States. Um, and they have a really good, like a company and building the helicopters for automation. And they're like, okay, guys, we need the software. Let's just combine some kind of skills. So basically they're our, our customer. And we are now mostly focusing on them, but we have a three to five potential customers who are willing to pay the price we provide. Uh, and we are in stage of agreement right now. We're under NDA and we're more flexible on the prices because we are not already a product.
