Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each
question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on
four things from 1 to 5:
directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow),
precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted
mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange
scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean.

Q What tools do you use to find things like, you know, the hashtags to use for a new client to get them followers? Any, any tools, just give me a laundry list of all the tools you use.
A Right. So I think, uh, one of the most well-known tools people use, uh, it's, it's called socialblade.com. That's just, just a free online Just, you could type in anybody's username as long as they're not private, and it'll give you some basic statistics about their daily growth, um, how much media they uploaded, and it's just a basic tool just to see how much people grow up. That's just a very simple tool. Then there's one called Social Rank. Socialrank.com, and that one's pretty awesome. That one you can farm all sorts of information from, and that one's the one that you can, you, you, you have to sign in. So you actually have to sign in with your Instagram A lot of people are very weary of it, but I can vouch for social rec.com. It's one of the only websites I will ever vouch for. Be extremely careful with ever signing in anywhere. But, um, social rank is social rank.com has been an amazing tool. And it basically first tells you can actually look up what your top followers are. So who has the most followers that are following you? So then you can start catering to, you know, the largest audience that you are reaching in terms of the people who have a large audience to follow you. So how important are you amongst the community of either celebrities, athletes, And a really well-known public figure. So that's social rank.com. You could also start looking up, you know, who was y…

Q So Eduardo walk me through some of the bigger names you've worked with so that people like understand, like, this is working for you. I think you were Gary V who else?
A So I've worked with, I helped do Tyler business, some of his social media marketing. I was also one of the first people to help movement watches. They're actually a larger watch brand. Now they're one of the biggest watch brands that started with social media and they have an amazing story. Uh, movement watches came to me when I was first on Tumblr. And I started growing on Tumblr as a luxury blogger, and I was able to grow a couple 100,000 followers there, so that's actually before Instagram. And Movement Watches came to me as a small startup, you know, they were doing affiliate marketing, so I stayed with them from their small, like, affiliate marketing stage, so now I actually saw them last week in Nordstrom.

Q And what's your team look like? Is it just you? I see some seats behind you. Are those team members chairs or what?
A No, this is, I'm actually in my home office now, um, but, um, I actually have a few people that work with me, so again, Rock Good Life is my business partner, so we cross-collaborate and do a lot of business together, and then I have, um, one of my other partners, um, he's Mark, he's a little more behind the scenes, um, then I have a few other interns, I have a few other people who help me run a lot of the pages, I have a few photographers who, um, we don't have like a central office, but whenever we meet up, we do stuff together, so, And I have a few photographers in New York city and we do creative content. And then I also reach out to other photographers when they're in LA. That's why I was in LA a couple months ago.

Q is there someone that, like you mentioned an Excel sheet with all the Instagram like followers, like it sounds like you might be one of the guys that's driving the growth of a lot of these pages that many of us wouldn't even realize, like Gary Vee. Are there, are there other people that you really respect that have even kind of a larger reach than you do or no?
A Yeah, so, I mean, there's a, there's a couple, when you get closer to, like, a lot of the people, what we do, it's, um, you have a lot of people who have, like, just these large number of followers, so I have five million, and then with my business partner, Mr. Good Life, Rock Good Life, a lot of people know who he is, um, us combined, we have about 10.5, eleven million, so then he has his list of his content, and I do, and then we have, uh, Dan Flashman and, um, Um, Brandon Hampton, so they're also some people that we've worked with before in the past, and they're also, they're past the thirty million mark, so they're also really awesome, some really awesome people that we work with. Um, he's pretty much who we respect a lot.

Q So why doesn't Ty just go buy this page? Like, isn't that probably cheaper than paying five grand over and over to keep using it?
A So sometimes people actually come to me and they ask me, hey, like, is it, should I buy a page? And this, um, is you can, you can do this and this is something that people do, but when you rebrand a page, you also lose some of the following and it isn't as organic. So I want people to understand like, yes, you can go out and buy a page, but if you want to do it, you should probably try buying a page that's as similar and as close to the exact message you're going to do. If you want to rebrand it to a brand, you're more likely to perform better. But if you want to rebrand it to a public figure, you're not going to buy it A fashion page and then post cars on it all day long. It's not really going to work very well.

Q Interesting. Um, okay, cool. Who is doing, well, let me, again, go back to your business for a second. So what year did you launch Classy Savant, and which is the consulting company that does all this, right?
A Right. So I launched this about I mean, so I started Instagram about two years ago, and then after about a year, I started growing these large pages, and I was doing small promotions, you know, small companies where, you know, I saw companies were, you know, sending me a little bit of money via, everybody does PayPal on Instagram, but you should, if you get more serious, you should probably avoid PayPal. Um, and then after a while, people were asking me, you know what, I want to do these, like, you seem to know what you're doing, I want to do, like, a larger campaign, like, you know, Four or five figures. And then I was like, okay, well this is getting very serious. And then at that point I realized when someone said, Hey, do you have a tax ID? And I'm like, I should probably get a little more serious about my business. And then from there, you know, I launched Classy Savant. Classy Savant didn't launch until last year. So, 2016. That was like when it was official.
