“We interviewed for launch and we got the offer. It was something that we had to talk about because if we went to launch and if you know, Jason Calacanis, he's all about building unicorns and Going through the venture route. And as we learned a little bit more about the program, thought about it, talk through it just did not fit what we thought the vision for the company should be, right? Going through the VC route, raising money, just going through the grind of that, that we've already experienced going through perfect audience. And we just wanted to focus on our customers. We wanted to focus on building something that was profitable and something that we can build on our own terms, right? The program is Built for and designed to learn how to pitch to VC. So that's something that we just felt off about and we decided not to go through it.”
