“If you're not precise and understand exactly how the business works, then your analysis may be right in spirit. But it's not right because of the details are wrong. And more importantly, the people that matter are not going to hear what you have to say because they're gonna get caught up on the details. And so for me, getting the details right is critical. Not just to make sure my analysis is right, but to make sure that people will hear the analysis, because people won't hear what you have to say if you get details wrong, even if those details don't matter.”
