Dan Go: People should stop using wearable sleep trackers after 6-12 months

High-performance health coach Dan Go explains to Codie Sanchez why he advises clients to abandon wearable sleep and fitness trackers after establishing healthy baseline metrics.
“My whole thing about these trackers is the fact that we should use them to get the data. Once we get the data, once we make improvements, we should actually stop using them. And I say for every single one of the people, should I get an honor ring? Should I get a whoop? Or whatever it is. I'm actually saying, like, you should get it for probably, like, six months to a year. Yeah. You should make the improvements that you should make, and everyone's different, so you can test out magnesium glycinate, you can test out mount taping, all this kind of stuff for your sleep and recovery and whatnot. Once you get that data, once you make the improvements, once you know your average score is at, like, 85, 90 for, like, sleep or whatever, get rid of it.”
