Q So earlier in your career, you worked for work with Robert Greene. You worked a little bit on like marketing, media manipulation was topic you were really interested in early on. Where did that come about?
A Yeah, I wrote a book about fake news in 2011, which was probably a bit, ah, ahead of its time. Um, I was talking about how, you know, seeing this, like, how stuff would sort of originate on the internet and then sort of spread into culture. I, I, I saw how that happened, you know, working for authors, or I, I was director of marketing of this apparel company called American Apparel, and so I was like, this is not how things should be. So I wrote, I wrote this book sort of about how that worked, and I thought it would be this kind of, like, precaution, Cautionary tales or tell people, and most people in the media were like, Basically I was, they sort of shot the messenger. The book was really controversial when it came out. Unfortunately, almost all of it has held up and, uh, things are, are, are arguably much worse than they were then. But, um.
