As a founding team member and longtime CEO of MTV Networks, Freston led the growth of major cable properties like MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central before serving as CEO of Viacom. Today, he advises media companies through his investment firm Firefly3 and is the author of the memoir Unplugged: Adventures from MTV to Timbuktu.
