Brendan Eich is best known for inventing the JavaScript programming language in 1995 while at Netscape and co-founding the Mozilla project, the Mozilla Foundation, and Firefox. He currently leads Brave Software, which develops the privacy-focused Brave web browser and the Basic Attention Token digital advertising ecosystem.
