Rujul Zaparde is the co-founder and CEO of Zip. He discusses how premature product customization prevents founders from achieving true repeatability.
“It's so easy to fall into like slightly customizing the product for each different type of customer you have. And you have so few at the text you care about a lot of them, right? You don't want to have somebody sharing and then you like, You start to, like, it's, you have, you've built something that's like a different, slightly different thing to five different people. This, I think, goes back to the theme of repeatability. I've seen so many founders do that too. And you don't, you know, you can talk yourself into it, but then that, that makes, it makes it really harder, right? Because every, like, how do you prioritize feature requests? How do you message your product on your website?”
