This page is a quick guide to the privacy choices available to you. It summarizes controls explained in full in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. It Just Works, Inc. (dba StarZero) provides these choices to all users, and offers the rights below to residents of jurisdictions whose laws provide them.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your Materials (the video and audio content you submit), and we do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We use analytics providers to measure and improve our Services under agreements that restrict their use of the information we provide. You can opt out of non-essential analytics using any of the methods below.
Opt Out of Analytics
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor the GPC signal. Enable it in a supported browser or extension and we will apply your opt-out automatically when you visit our website.
- Browser controls. Block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings.
- Provider opt-outs. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of analytics providers.
- Ask us. Email [email protected] and we will apply your opt-out to your account where applicable.
Access, Correct, Delete, and Export
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a portable copy of the personal information we hold about you as a controller. Some controls are self-serve: you can download your media and cancel your subscription from your account, and edit your profile at any time. To delete your account, email [email protected] for now (self-serve account deletion is coming). For anything else, email the same address.
If your personal data appears in content uploaded by an organization that uses StarZero, that organization is the controller and we act as its processor. We will refer your request to them, and you should contact them directly.
Sensitive Data
We do not use face- or voice-derived data for advertising, eligibility, credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We use this data to provide face- and speaker-aware search and editing features. We may also use it to improve those features only where you have provided the required consent or another valid legal authorization applies. See the Face and Voice Data section of our Privacy Policy for details.
Marketing
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such message, or by contacting us. We will still send you service and security messages related to your account.
How We Handle Your Request
We verify requests using the information associated with your account and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request and your jurisdiction provides an appeal process, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
