The Exchanges

Every argument clarity score on this site is built from rows on this page. Each question and answer was assessed with names hidden, the host's own answers included, on four things from 1 to 5: directness (does it answer the question asked), coherence (do the ideas follow), precision (concrete details and clear references), compression (says a lot per word). The weighted mix (30/30/25/15) is the exchange score. A person's published score averages their exchange scores on raw tape only, at least 8 of them, shrunk toward the cohort mean. Full method →

Every exchange below was scored with names hidden, four dimensions each from 1 to 5. An exchange's score is 0.30·directness + 0.30·coherence + 0.25·precision + 0.15·compression. The published score averages the raw tape exchange scores and shrinks small samples toward the cohort mean, so five great answers can't beat twenty good ones. Produced feed rows count only toward coarse estimates, never toward a full score.

Q That's like, when did money come in for the first time, like serious fundraise?

A Yeah. So Nexus, um, they essentially did our series A and they were, so this was actually like, we, we, so they approached us and we told them, Hey, they said, okay, this business is interesting. What are you doing? Kiranakar, 300 orders per day pretty quickly. Maybe you can scale. We actually, the first meeting, we told them, we're going to shut this down. This doesn't work. Like we're talking to customers and they're just telling us this doesn't work. Right. Uh, so we're shutting it down. And that was the first meeting. Like they, they said, we're interested in funding you. And we said, we're shutting this business down. So like, don't fund us. Um, and then we started and then said, okay, we're shutting it down. What are you going to do? And we told them that we think this model has got better product market fit. And so when we walked them through the thesis, we actually showed them the customer data. They were like, okay, this is exciting. And that's when they funded us. So they put in, that was a ten million dollar CDZ that they raised.
