Sebastian Carlson recounts his previous experience working at alternative credit scoring startup Entrepreneurial Finance Lab (EFL) and its merger with Lendo.
“We later in 2018, if I'm not wrong, we merged with a company called Lendo to come become Lendo EFL. On paper, the two companies matched really well. Lendo came with other kind of data sources with tapping a lot into sort of Android data, social network data, email data. But unfortunately, the merger did not work out really very well. I'm sure there were other factors, but from my point of view at the time, it was too much of a cultural crash, which basically led to the beginning of the end of that organization.”
