Early Amplitude team member Jeff Wang discusses the importance of narrative sharpening with podcast host Pablo Srugo.
“There are some domains, you know, marketing, fundraising, where I think you get kind of disproportionate leverage out of your ability to storytell and exaggerate in ways that like, not trying to lie, but like trying to communicate your point in a, you know, again, in a sharper and like more emotional way to people so that they have something to latch onto. And that's good for recruiting. Yeah. Good for marketing fundraising. It has a lot of benefits. And so It's like, I'm not, like, looking down on this at all. I think this is actually great, and a super valuable tool and skill for founders to have, and I think we're kind of bad at it, yeah.”
