Cristobal Valenzuela, co-founder and CEO of Runway, discusses how multimodal artificial intelligence models will transform specialized creative software suites.
“I think a common natural evolution of just the creative stack or the creative software solutions out there, they tend to be very specific to domains of content. So you have a tool that's specialized on, like, Image editing. And then you have a tool that specializes on vector graphics, and you have a tool that specializes on motion graphics, which is different from video editing, which is different from, like, post-compositive, which, and you have all this, like, very sophisticated, like, software stacks. And I think that the very interesting aspect of what it would like to see and what we'll probably see more with multimodal systems is that you're able to merge all of those.”
