Sam Parr shares a research and decision-making habit on My First Million, explaining why he tracks financial and biographical milestones from business books into Google Sheets.
“Whenever I read a book, I do a few things. One, I make, whenever there's like a year and a money term or some type of milestone, I write it down in a sheet. And the reason why I write it in a sheet is because a lot of times when you're building a company or doing anything that's like really challenging, you, you'll read about someone else and you're like, that was easy. And so I like to do timelines, and you'll see, like, oh, okay, like, they went four years with nothing happening.”
