“Cause I hit Jack up and I was like, Hey, I heard you're doing this new credit card thing. I'd like to be an angel investor. And he's like, Oh dude, it's oversubscribed. I'm sorry. Like we've closed the round, like blah, blah. And I was like, damn it. I'm like, well, let me see if I can help you in some way. And so he gave me a prototype and I just went and recorded the video and it got a lot of traction. And it got a lot of people excited about this new product. And it was like an early glimpse of what was to come. And it started getting, you know, tens of thousands of views on, on YouTube. And he calls me back and he's like, I had an investor drop out. I've got some room. Do you want to put a check in? And so that's what got me into to their seed round”
