“And the reason I picked that strategy is I said, alright, if it doesn't work, nobody thought it was going to work anyway. But, at least I've had a top tier VC behind me, they've had a chance to see what I can do and who I am, and therefore hopefully get another opportunity. So that was my worst case. Can you live with it? Best case was if I can take something that's broken and I can fix it at a top tier firm, I can then basically decide what I want to go do next because I will have proven myself.”
