Q What is the next step? If a company is saying, we want to avoid that problem, how do you then start to work on product development with those ethics in mind?
A I put together, work with organizations and pull together ethical frameworks. I usually don't start from, uh, scratch because there is material out there that we can reference, but I will meet organizations where they are, and we'll have a discussion on what are your, uh, goals, what are your intentions, and the ethical framework will consist of governance, um, cybersecurity, Because there are, you know, your data can get manipulated, um, with whether there's bias integrated or not, and having discussions to help the organizations understand how what they are intending to do could be circumvented. I'll talk to them about the ethics team, how they should have an ethics team, uh, ethics committee, or an ethics board, depending on the size of the organization. Who should be reporting to, and what instances should be elevated to the director level versus what issues can be handled at the individual level, um, and how to go about ensuring, too, that in these situations that you have good recovery and continuity plans in place. So those are, are examples of the conversations I have. And the conversations that we should be having.
