“They're fully investing in the things I thought were very important at the time, which was, you know, these large genetic databases coming online and functional genomics. So he was way ahead in the, in sort of the thinking about CRISPR and like the gene perturbation to generate data. And saying, we're gonna, there's gonna be explosion data, you can see the trends, so we're gonna need machine learning to make sense of it all. And so they weren't sort of just like dabbling and like, we'll have one group and we'll do some contracts, like we'll establish an entire thing and this will be core to our strategy.”
