“How do you hire people, and how do you find which teams to invest in, and one of the things I always apply is, is this someone whom every conversation is more interesting than the one before it, or is it a replay? You know, most people we actually meet, I don't know if you have any people in your life where you go out to dinner with them, and It's sort of the same conversation over and over, but there's some people we meet where every conversation seems to build almost exponentially on top of the previous one, and for me, some of the greatest people I've brought on my teams or the greatest investments I ever made were with people with whom every conversation seemed a step function more interesting than the one before it, and so it's one of the things that I look for you know, when I find people that I want to work with.”
