“I think one thing I like to do pretty soon after leading an investment is do an executive search with the founder. I think it's like a very nice way to get from the opposite sides of the table when you're negotiating an investment. You know, the first thing you want to do is make sure you feel like you're on the same side of the table and, you know, go on the same side of the table and grinding a recruiter on how many leads we have in the funnel for our VP of engineering search. It's like a great way to align.”
