“Like a hold code can provide you ways of having tax savings. There's, you know, there's, in the US, there's typically active earnings and passive earnings. Those are different, those, you know, if you have passive losses, you can use those to access Offset passive gains. If you have active losses, you can use those to access active gains and that sort of thing. The nice thing about it is say you have a portfolio of businesses and one of them loses money in a year. And then another one earns money. Like you could potentially use that to offset those things and have some tax savings and tax efficiency around the whole thing.”
