Olivier Pomel is the founder and CEO of Datadog. Speaking with FirstMark Partner Matt Turck at Data Driven NYC, he discusses the core thesis behind Datadog's unified observability platform.
“And one of the main reasons why we started a company was to bridge the gap between the different teams and break down the silos. It didn't make sense for us to have those things being separate and, you know, it turns out the problems actually don't stop at the binary, like the problems don't say, oh, that's a log problem, so, like, no, stop there. When you have a real-world problem, you actually need to go across everything, so it made sense to integrate everything.”
