Mark43 cannot legally auto-merge police records due to audit trail requirements
“Legally we as Mark 43 cannot merge those records ourselves. We have to allow a law enforcement official to do that because each piece of data entered into the system must have an audit trail that can track back to them so that this can go to court.”
