“What Apple does is they don't experiment in public. They have this theory of the product, and we think this product is now something that we think you will, there's a real theory as to why you would buy this and what it's useful for. And it all works, and everything that we've tried to do works, and now we're going to show it to you, and we'll sell it to you, and then we will iterate continuously for the next five or 10 years, and so the watch now is much better than it was when it launched. If you look at a new iPad compared with the iPad when it launched 10 years ago, it's spectacularly better but that happens as, like, kind of steady iteration over time, And they never ship you something that isn't ready to buy on the basis of, well, we just thought we'd see if this is any good and if people like it. They don't ship experiments.”
