“We've had a military where you've had large numbers of people required to operate small numbers of things. And that model doesn't scale. And when you're competing against you know, Countries that are, you know, multiple times your population, potentially soon to have, you know, our GDP technological parity. We've got to come up with a different way to do this, and I think these are the kinds of technologies that will allow us to generate mass, which I think is the real sort of resurgence here, which is how do you generate large quantities of things under the assumption that you're probably not going to have them forever. You're probably going to lose them when you're competing with them. And then you have to consistently sort of generate and regenerate that type of, ah, combat capability. So at the center of that has to be autonomy. It has to be, ah, a large number of things operated by a small number of people.”
