“Replication is what gives you fault tolerance and say censorship resistance. If there's only one node that's storing your file, then if that node goes down, you could lose your data. And from another perspective, if there's only one node storing your file, then if anybody could figure out what Node that is, then one could launch it you know, a denial of service attack against that node. And therefore effectively censor you without being the actual node that's responsible for your data.”
