“I did the investment in Twitter way back in the day. And the thesis for me was, it was very simple for me to see because we'd had bi-directional relationships for the longest time. And what I mean by that is the, my spaces and all the social platforms that had come before it had this idea of friendship and it was okay. In order for me to get invited into your world, I would friend you would get a request and be like, oh, Kevin friended me. Then you would have the permit. You would grant me the permission to see what you were up to. And the beautiful thing about what Jack and Ev did in, in biz over there is they said, okay, we're going to take that and just open it up and say, actually, you can just broadcast out and say, I have something important to tell the world and everyone can follow it, whether they know you or not.”
