“I believe that great technology companies and kind of like great engineers and great talent can be found anywhere that I think a lot of people historically felt like, oh, if you're going to build a company, then you need to come to Silicon Valley. To actually do that, that the access to capital and knowledge and expertise is local to here in a way that gives unfair advantages. I do believe that it is advantageous in some ways to be out here, but I think increasingly over time, you're going to see that democratize and that the communities that are building all across the United States and the world and what it means to be able to work in different places is actually starting to reduce those barriers and it will make more and more sense over time for companies to not be located here or have the majority of their operations not necessarily in Silicon Valley and still be very successful in tech.”
