Matteo Franceschetti, co-founder and CEO of Eight Sleep, shares his candidate evaluation criteria and hiring playbook during a discussion on analyzing resume red flags.
“I think even though you want to see a pattern, I see sometimes people that have been part of three RIFs. But you know what you need to think there is, let's say there is a RIF after a year, or even six months, sometimes you see it, and you see this happening multiple times in their career, like three, four times. Then what I start questioning is, how did you judge the company? Right? How did, why did you pick this company? Right? There is that part of judgment that is key in their career because it means they are thoughtful about what company they're joining and why.”
