Avichal Garg is the Managing Partner at Electric Capital. He discusses Electric Capital's investment in blockchain company Coda (later renamed Mina Protocol).
“We did an investment in a company called Coda that has some novel ways to compress the blockchain itself using zero knowledge proofs. And the reason I think this is really interesting is what it allows is for a much, much smaller blockchain, which allows for much more decentralization and That decentralization enables censorship resistance and seizure resistance, and so it makes the currency itself much, much more scalable and much more useful, and so that as a core principle around which to build a company, I think makes a lot of sense.”
